We kicked off our first project today. Starting with a brain storm session in our groups. We were asked to make a collage board with headlines from newspapers that made us think about what are the most important global issues of our time.
We think issues surrounding racism is very prominent and relevant in the current social and political climate.
As our discussion about racism progressed, we started to ask ourselves questions like:
-Can we live in a borderless world?
-Is a unified humanity possible?
-Why are people racist?
-How racism affect our lives?
